Safari Park Zoo
What to expect
Dubai Safari Park, covering an impressive 119 hectares in Al Warqa, serves as a vast wildlife sanctuary home to around 3,000 animals across a variety of species, including mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and invertebrates. As the UAE’s first facility of its kind, the park emphasizes creating a safe and peaceful environment for its residents, supported by ongoing conservation and rehabilitation efforts.
Visitors can explore themed villages that replicate the iconic landscapes of the African savannah and Arabian desert, encountering rare and endangered species from zoos around the world. In the Asian Village, you’ll find animals thriving in forest and pond habitats, while the African Village showcases both the largest and smallest land mammals. For a closer look, the Explorer Village offers a bus tour to observe the wildlife up close.
Children can enjoy hands-on experiences at the Kids Farm, interacting with friendly farm animals like sheep, donkeys, ponies, goats, ducks, and birds. The adventure concludes with educational animal shows at the Asian Village Theatre, providing fascinating insights into the park’s extraordinary wildlife.
